Our Environment
A clean and healthy environment is central to our food philosophy and the way we do business. In addition to now generating our own electricity through our wind turbine, Country Crest’s contribution to a cleaner environment includes operating an environmental management system on the farm, using recyclable packaging, recycling the water used at the main pack-house, composting the green waste from the onion plant, using greener fuel in our trucks and heavy machinery and keeping food miles as low as possible.
