CSR Corporate Social Responsibility
Country Crests desire to improve people's lives, facilitate farming enterprises, promote food sustainability and contribute to raising the standard of living for those participating in deserving projects in less developed communities, is the basis of our CSR strategy. This strategy is incorporated in our business objectives and operations.
Country Crest is aware of the need to be responsible towards the economy, society, environment, and human welfare.
It is about helping those less fortunate, using resources wisely and acting with honesty and integrity, while aiming to positively impact on the economy, society and natural environment of less fortunate communities.
Country Crest has immense expertise in produce production. Taking this expertise and our social corporate responsibility, Country Crest is actively involved in 2 exciting projects to develop basic food production and horticultural skills in under developed countries.
While not benefiting from participating in these projects on either a financial or commercial level, Country Crest are empowering more deserving communities to do so. In essence they are enabling communities to provide for their families, feed their animals and produce cash crops that will benefit others in the community. They are providing the equipment and knowledge to local communities - including seed, equipment and technology - to become sustainable, commercial businesses. This will help improve their living and working conditions, hopefully giving people a sense of fulfilment.
